Epoxy Flexible Adhesive H907-HF-Z

I. Overview:
Dongguan Huachuang H907-HF-N is a one-component, epoxy resin-based highly flexible adhesive. It is widely used for bonding and fixing various electronic components, electrical appliances, electromechanical hardware, magnetic components, optoelectronic products, and automotive parts. It exhibits excellent bonding strength for encapsulating and bonding between metals, ceramics, glass, fiber products, and rigid plastics. It is highly recommended for filling transformer magnetic core center legs. It features high thixotropy at elevated temperatures. After curing, the solidified product possesses high elasticity, excellent adhesion, outstanding electrical properties, and superior vibration resistance.

II. Appearance & Physical Properties:

• Appearance: Viscous paste

• Color: Black or White

• Specific Gravity (25°C): 1.45 - 1.55

• Viscosity (25°C): 30,000 - 60,000 CPS

• Shelf Life: 2 months at 25°C, 3 months at 5°C

• Packaging: 1KG or 5KG

III. Curing Conditions:
115-120°C for 1.5 - 2 hours

IV. Cured Material Properties:

• Volume Resistivity: 3.5 × 10¹³ Ω·cm

• Surface Resistivity: 1.5 × 10¹³ Ω

• Elongation at Break: > 150%

• Dielectric Breakdown Voltage: 16 - 18 kV/mm

• Shear Strength: 20 - 30 kg/cm²

• Tensile Strength: 8.5 MPa

• Hardness (Shore D): 40 - 50

• Core-to-Core Bonding Strength: > 15 KG

V. Precautions:

1. Clean & Dry Surface: The bonding area must be clean and dry. Conduct small-scale trials before mass production to understand the curing requirements and characteristics.

2. Ventilation & Personal Protection: Work areas should be cool and well-ventilated. Some individuals may experience allergic reactions upon contact due to personal constitution or environmental factors. Individuals prone to allergies should minimize contact. Others should use appropriate protective equipment. Wash promptly with alcohol or water after contact.

3. Filling Quantity (Core Center Leg): When filling magnetic core center legs, dispense approximately 80% of the leg space. Avoid overfilling.

4. Recommended Curing & Extensions: The recommended curing profile is 120°C for 2 hours. For large ovens, high product loads, or uneven oven temperatures, extend curing time by 30-60 minutes. Determine optimal curing time through small-scale trials for different products. Filling center legs requires longer curing times due to heat transfer; extend time appropriately based on product size/structure. Test empirically.

5. Complete Single Curing Cycle: Ensure complete curing in a single cycle. Partially cured adhesive is very difficult to fully cure later; subsequent attempts may require extremely long times (test per product). Crucially: Do not immerse partially cured adhesive in varnish, insulating paint, or other chemicals, as reactions may occur causing permanent uncurability.

6. Stir Before Use & Storage: Stir the entire container thoroughly before opening/use. Seal unused adhesive tightly after use; stir again before next use (prevents component separation/settling which causes uneven curing, e.g., difficult or impossible curing). For bag-packaged adhesive, knead the bag before each use to prevent separation causing poor curing.

7. Viscosity Adjustment & Halogen Control: If adhesive is too thick for dispensing, do not add thinners or solvents yourself. Contact our company for viscosity adjustment. This is a low-halogen product. Ensure dispensing equipment and all contact surfaces are clean and low-halogen to prevent contamination.

8. Refrigerated Storage & Thawing: Before refrigerating, ensure container lids are tightly sealed. Store containers upside down to prevent moisture ingress. Thaw refrigerated adhesive at room temperature for 8-12 hours before use. Do not open lid during thawing to prevent condensation. Stir the entire container thoroughly before use. Do not re-refrigerate unused adhesive; store sealed at room temperature. Use opened adhesive within 5 days.
